Yesterday I had the tank off my newly acquired '97 Savage. I was trying to debuzz the speedometer. Haven't checked if I was successful yet. Anyhow, I thought well, why not remove the white spacer while I'm here. So I used my best long shanked philips screwdriver and applied as much force as I could without ripping out the screw slots. Nothing moved!
Is there something I am missing here? Also one screw was located under the frame. There is no way to get a screw driver on it???? What's up with that?
